The MASH Coalition’s work focuses on California statewide energy policy and provides a voice for multifamily affordable housing in the policy and regulatory arenas. By playing this important role, multifamily property owners needed a way to show their combined efforts.
Working with key affordable housing stakeholders we worked to develop a brand mark and website that highlights affordable housing property owners combined efforts and provide a platform to distribute policy information.
New Brand Identity
The MASH Coalition needed an identity that represented unity while also finding a way to tie their unified efforts to solar or energy. We came up with several concepts with a bold and simple logo emerging as the winner. The logo we developed uses strong colors and bold lettering to show strength. The orange circle served to demonstrate unity as well as the sun.
Working with key affordable housing stakeholders we worked to develop a new website that provides an easy way to provide policy updates and show their combined efforts. To allow for members of the coalition to make updates as needed, we chose SquareSpace for its user-friendly back-end interface.
