The USGBC San Diego Chapter is an environmental non-profit and the local voice of the USGBC in San Diego, California. Founded in 2002, the USGBC-SD has more than 500 active member working in support of creating a more sustainable and resilient community.
Overview
The United States Green Building Council, San Diego Chapter was looking for new ways to engage with the community and provide new educational opportunities.
Solution
We worked closely with the Education Manager and Executive Director to develop a series of events and education options.

We built an Education Portal that provided a cost-effective option for the chapter to pilot online learning. As a pilot, we needed to provide a solution that was easy to use and quick to deploy, which is why we chose to use WordPress as our LMS platform.
Results from this project included recognition from USGBC National for the San Diego Chapter and their educational programming, and greater access to Green Building education in our community.
